Ojai Festival 2019 Music Director Barbara Hannigan and Artistic Director Thomas W. Morris shared initial programming for the 73rd Festival, June 6-9, 2019. Announcing the Equilibrium Young Artists and EQ’s first season of performances, including The Rake’s Progress and Mozart’s Requiem. After processing applications from 350 singers from 39 countries, and hearing 125 live auditions, Barbara Hannigan selected 20 young professional singers and one young conductor from 11 countries to participate in the debut season of Equilibrium.
