Equilibrium Kunal LahiryKunal Lahiry’s special affinity towards art song has led to concerts at the Wigmore Hall, Pierre Boulez Saal, Carnegie Hall Weill Music Room, Sant Pau Modernista Recinte, Harpa Concert Hall (Reykjavík), Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Musée d’Orsay, and in the Lunchkonzert series of the Berliner Philharmonie. Regarded as a “sensitive and inspiring” collaborator, he has bee featured on the radio program ‘Kulturradio RBB’ in Berlin, on the live radio broadcast ‘Génération France Musique’, and on Daniel Hope’s ARTE concert series ‘Hope@Home’ and ‘Europe@Home’. In 2018, Lahiry was selected for the first academy of melody and lieder at the Royaumont Abbey and Musée D’Orsay, a year-long residency culminating in a live album recording with B Records. His past and present mentors include Walter Hautzig, Kyoko Hashimoto, Wolfram Rieger, Eric Schneider, Thomas Hampson, and Susan Manoff. Kunal currently resides in Berlin.
