Persian musician Haniye Kian, comes to EQ as an apprentice at the beginning of her exciting journey into conducting. As a singer, Kian is known for her versatility and has mastered a wide array of genres, from metal and rock towards classical as well as traditional Persian music.
Kian writes: ‘As an aspiring conductor, my musical journey is fueled by a profound passion for crafting innovative and emotionally resonant works. My ambition is to develop my skills in the art of conducting and use them to infuse the New Age genre with a fresh perspective, blending diverse musical elements to create a unique and captivating sound.
With a rich and diverse foundation in traditional Persian music, classical music, jazz, rock, and metal, I aim to draw from these varied influences to forge a fusion that transcends traditional musical boundaries and resonates with contemporary audiences.’
Barbara has been privately mentoring Haniye Kian since 2024, and EQ now welcomes Haniye as she embarks on this new chapter in her creative path.
