Equilibrium Elizabeth KaraniBritish soprano Elizabeth Karani studied at the Royal Northern College of Music, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the National Opera Studio.
Previous roles include Nanna/Embla The Monstrous Child (Royal Opera House), Gretel Hansel and Gretel (English National Opera), Musetta La Bohème (Opera Holland Park) Rutilia Lucio Papirio Dittatore (Buxton International Festival), Cino Teuzzone (La Serenissima-Venice), Tatyana Eugene Onegin (Mid Wales Opera), Isabella L’inganno Felice (West Green Opera), Jano Jenufa (Longborough Festival Opera), Jay The Cunning Little Vixen (Garsington Opera) and Rosalinde Die Fledermaus (Diva Opera). 2020 would have seen her debut at Welsh National Opera as Despina Così fan tutte and her debut at the Philharmonie de Paris with Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. Future projects include Susanna Le Nozze di Figaro in the Opera Holland Park 2021 season and her Wagnerian debut as Helmwige Die Walküre.

Elizabeth has made concert debuts at the Wigmore Hall, Barbican Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Bridgewater Hall, St John’s Smith Square, the Gasteig (Munich) with Die Münchner Philharmoniker, Xi’an Concert Hall (China) and at La Folle Journée (Nantes).Elizabeth is past Park Lane Group artist, Les Azuriales artist, Countess of Munster recital artist and is a current Equilibrium Young Artist.
