In February and March, various EQ team members visited Barbara in Hamburg during the rehearsals for Lulu at Staatsoper Hamburg, and in Paris for the La Voix humaine performances at Opéra national de Paris.

Also by way of EQ, the pianist, composer and conductor Edo Frenkel got in touch, and serendipity created an opportunity for us to work together in the preparation of a Satie Socrate project at the Ruhrtriennale. I look forward to working with him again in future.
EQ is Everywhere: conductor Gabriella Teychenné
Recently I was assisted by the young(er than me) conductor Gabriella Teychenné on my European tour with the Netherlands’ Ludwig Orchestra. She was a welcome addition to our tour. Her positive energy and fierce talent were inspiring to me and to the players in the orchestra, and I’m very happy she will assist me for my concerts in January 2018 at Munich Philharmonic!
